To commemorate the 37th edition of the America's Cup, Panerai, partner of the Italian sailing team Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli, presents the new Luminor Luna Rossa CarbotechTM PAM01529, available in just 37 examples, exclusively online for just 24 hours starting from Thursday 30 November 2023 on the official website of the Maison.
This new Panerai is an authentic homage to Panerai's legendary history, embodying the very heart of the brand with its distinctive characteristics. The Luminor, with its crown-protecting bridge, the luminescence of the indexes thanks to SuperLuminovaTM, the sandwich dial and the lugs extruded from the same block as the case, represents an icon of high sports watchmaking, inspired by the civilian models of the nineties.
The new Luminor Luna Rossa CarbotechTM PAM01529 is equipped with the automatic caliber P.9010, with a three-day power reserve. Its 44 mm CarbotechTM case features a blue dial with a satiné soleil finish. The small seconds dial, positioned at 9 o'clock, stands out for its red hand, a tribute to the color of the Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli team boat, while the date display is elegantly positioned at 3 o'clock.
The CarbotechTM material, an innovation introduced by Panerai in fine watchmaking, offers a matt and non-homogeneous appearance that makes each watch unique. As light as steel and titanium, but more resistant to external stress and corrosion, CarbotechTM is obtained by pressing very thin sheets of carbon fiber at a controlled temperature and high pressure with a polymer, PEEK (Polyether Ether Ketone), which gives greater robustness to the composite material.
The PAM01529 is completed with a blue rubber and fabric strap, embellished with the team name and red striped logo, offering a touch of customizable style for different occasions.
QThis special e-commerce edition, available for 24 hours only, celebrates the deep connection between Panerai and Luna Rossa, embodying the values of both: the commitment to pushing limits, pushing the boundaries of performance and experiencing the adrenaline of challenges on the open sea.
