The house founded by Francois Czapek, Napoleon III's official watchmaker, presents a new edition of the Antarctique Rattrapante with a touch of blue that enhances the spheres and counters on the “dial”.

Quadrant in quotation marks because Czapek proposes this new naked and raw Rattrapante to be able to admire the Grand Complication. Sapphire crystal on the front and back of the case reveals the intricate choreography of the mechanism. The two off-center counters, the Czapek trademark, are immediately recognizable: the 4-minute totalizer at 30 o'clock, the small seconds at 7 o'clock.

At the center of the clock stands the tripod bridge which supports the patented satellite minute train and the rattrapante mechanism. The two column wheels required respectively for the chronograph and the rattrapante mechanism are also clearly visible.

The heart of the Rattrapante Ice Blue is Czapek's SHX6 caliber. This proprietary high-performance movement, created in collaboration with Chronode, is both a mechanical and aesthetic work of art that we can admire in all its mechanical splendor including levers, clamps and gears.

The Antarctique Rattrapante Ice Blue is equipped with a stainless steel bracelet whose links have the shape of the letter C.
It will be available in a limited edition of 99 pieces starting April 2, 2022
