The basis of this new edition of IWC Lewis Hamilton is the known Big pilot with perpetual calendar always presented on an oversized 46.5 mm case, with a height of almost 16 mm and a significant weight.

However this new edition of IWC dedicated to the sample of Formula 1 Lewis Hamilton (Designed by him in a very personal way, it is really bold. The colors are stronger than the usual pilot's watch, as already mentioned the timepiece is large, heavy, complex and far from accessible.

For its perpetual calendar version IWC Big Pilot's Watch, Lewis Hamilton chose a matte black ceramic case, made of zirconium oxide. To give contrast, the crown and caseback are crafted in 18K red gold. To match the rest of the dial, the fabric strap is burgundy red and complemented by a black ceramic folding clasp.

The dial is equally bold, colorful and contrasting, crafted in brushed burgundy red, paired with red gold-plated hands and applied indexes. The classic but complex view of the internal perpetual calendar is maintained IWC, with the indication of day, date, month, year on 4 digits and double moon for both hemispheres. The watch also features small seconds and a power reserve indication.

To power the timepiece dedicated to the champion Lewis Hamilton is the caliber 52615, an internal movement with a winding system Pellaton, which offers 168 hours of power reserve and beats at 4Hz. The movement is decorated with a special gold-colored rotor with the pilot's logo.
